Another good tip. When selecting a good place to camp for the night, make sure there is no risk of falling rock and debris from up above. Here is a rare view of just haw far rocks can fall from a crag or cliff face.This rare view shows where Fresh rocks have fallen away and left a foot print in some snow.
A great example of how dangerous it can be for wild campers who set up to close to these crags.

Also bear in mind that these rocks have fallen on melting snow that is around a average depth of six to eight inches. so just imagine how far the rocks will travel when there is no snow.

 If there were a person standing at these fallen rocks you would be able to see just how far they had fallen.
When I took this picture I estimated it to be at least a good 40 meter.
